Riprendiamo parte di un percorso descritto nel primo volume della nostra
guida; il sentiero del Fieno. Questa volta ad accompagnarci c'è Giorgia, una
cara amica che ha deciso di unirsi a noi per evadere dalla frenesia del lavoro
d'ufficio. Posteggiamo l'auto presso il piazzale di Monte Carmelo di Loano, che
già conosciamo, e percorriamo la discesa acciottolata che costeggia la chiesa.
Giunti al fondo prendiamo la sinistra seguendo le indicazioni del CAI poste su
una palina, e ben presto ci troviamo davanti alla chiesetta della Madonna della
Mercede.
Proseguiamo verso nord e dopo la prima curva troviamo evidenti le indicazioni
per la Chiesa di SS Cosma e Damiano, classico segnavia bianco e rosso. Si sale
rapidamente e ci si ritrova presso allo spiazzo della chiesa dove un bellissimo
panorama è pronto ad accoglierci. Torniamo qualche passo indietro per
proseguire sulla destra su un sentiero sterrato che fiancheggia una casa
incompiuta; continuiamo per la via attraversando fasce di ulivi e superando
due cancelletti. Al primo bivio seguiamo le indicazioni del Bric 5 alberi.
Dalla sommità della selletta, la mattinata soleggiata e limpida, ci permette di
scorgere l'appennino toscano.
Scendiamo velocemente per raggiungere uno spiazzo dove prendiamo la
seconda via sulla destra, direzione Ranzi. Arriviamo ora alla borgata Santa
Liberata, piccolo comprensorio di case dove sorge la piccola omonima cappella.
Alle nostre spalle un cartello verticale ci indica l'inizio del sentiero del Fieno
(primo volume di #duezainieuncamallo) che sale con diverse svolte,
fiancheggiando alcune grandi vasche per la raccolta dell'acqua. Il sentiero, a
tratti con fondo roccioso, tra magnifici scorci panoramici, si innesta più avanti
su una più larga sterrata.
Siamo giunti a metà percorso. Da qui sarà tutta discesa.
Percorriamo la sterrata fino all'innesto con l'asfalto e, superata una grande
villa con parco, tra i cespugli sulla nostra destra, un piccolo sentierino nascosto
ci porta ad attraversare la zona in cui il comune di Pietra Ligure organizza la
famosa sagra del Nostralino.
Attraversiamo il grande prato e giungiamo in prossimità di un cancello. Poco
prima sulla destra, un piccolo percorso non segnalato ci condurrà alla Borgata
Sant'Antonio, in dialetto ligure, Dransciù.
Qui percorriamo velocemente alcuni tipici "carugetti" incastonati tra case di
pietra per arrivare nuovamente a scorgere il mare e tutto il litorale di Pietra
Ligure e Loano, con il maestoso porto turistico.
Proseguiamo quindi sulla strada provinciale facendo attenzione alle auto che
provengono da una curva e ci dirigiamo a destra, scendendo per il paese.
Proprio in piena curva prendiamo, sulla destra, una lastricata che ci riporta alla
borgata Santa Liberata dove, ripercorrendo la stessa strada dell'andata,
