Dallo spiazzo di via Boragni, tornare indietro di 20 m e prendere la via a destra che diparte dalla curva della strada principale. Salire 100 m e continuare diritto al primo bivio, quindi svoltare a sinistra (dopo 50 m) al successivo. Tenersi nuovamente sulla sinistra e, fatta una breve discesa, costeggiare una grande parete rocciosa lunga 30 m. L’esposizione ad Est della Bastionata di Boragni, inoltre, ne costituisce la falesia estiva per eccellenza. Superata la parete, proseguire la risalita per circa 10 minuti, sino al sopraggiungere di un nuovo bivio seminascosto sulla destra. Prendere la deviazione e risalire la ripida via ben segnata con pallino rosso. Dopo circa 300 m di ascesa, si raggiunge l’ingresso dell’Arma Strapatente, una delle più grandi e scenografiche caverne del Finalese. 100 m oltre l’uscita dell’Arma, si trova sulla destra, la “Grotta dei Balconi”, dalla quale è possibile ammirare un bel panorama sulla “Val Nava”. Superata la grotta, incomincia un tratto in discesa, circa 300 m, che termina immettendosi in un largo sentiero che collega tra loro le frazioni di Orco e Boragni. Finita la discesa, svoltando a sinistra, il sentiero compie un anello che aggira la “Rocca di Nava” e ritorna al punto di partenza; svoltando a destra, invece, inizia la salita verso Orco e San Lorenzino. Percorrere circa 700 m in salita, in direzione San Lorenzino. In alcuni tratti è
possibile godere di un magnifico panorama sui colli e le valli circostanti. Si giunge quindi ad un bivio, segnato con un cartello informativo: proseguendo dritto (tenendosi sulla destra), si arriva ad Orco; prendendo la discesa sulla sinistra si procede, invece, alla volta di San Lorenzino in direzione Nordovest.
Finita la discesa prendere la deviazione a destra, ove il sentiero curva ad Ovest ed iniziare una nuova breve salita che porta a località Villa. Finita la breve salita, svoltando a sinistra, si entra nel caseggiato di località Villa; proseguire per 50 m, svoltare a destra e continuare dritto per 200 m, in direzione Sud. Lasciarsi quindi il caseggiato alle proprie spalle e prendere il bivio sulla sinistra, che ci porterà all’interno del “Parco archeologico di San Lorenzino”.
L’area archeologica è collocata su un rilevo, naturalmente protetto da pareti e speroni rocciosi, in posizione strategica per il controllo dell’area circostante. Continuando la risalita, si costeggia a destra il rudere di un antico fabbricato e si giunge poco oltre alla chiesetta di San Lorenzino, l’elemento più suggestivo del
Parco. Dal piazzale della chiesetta, il sentiero prosegue terminando sulla sommità dell’altura. Qui sono presenti i resti di una grande torre in pietra a base quadrata, avente la funzione, in epoca passata, di vigliare dalla piana di Feglino sino al fondovalle di Cornei. Ripercorrere a ritroso il tragitto fatto per tornare allo spiazzo di partenza.
From the forecourt of via Boragni, turn back 20 m and take the road on the right that leaves the bend in the main road. After about 300 m of ascent, you reach the entrance to the Arma Strapatente, one of the largest and most spectacular caves in the Finale area. 100 m after the exit of the Arma, on the right, is the "Grotta dei Balconi", from which it is possible to admire a beautiful panorama of the "Val Nava". Once past the cave, a descent begins, about 300 m, which ends with a wide path connecting the hamlets of Orco and Boragni. At the end of the descent, turning left, the path makes a loop that goes around the "Rocca di Nava" and returns to the starting point; turning right, on the other hand, begins the climb towards Orco and San Lorenzino. In some places you can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding hills and valleys. You will then come to a crossroads, marked with an information sign: if you go straight ahead (keeping to the right), you will get to Orco; if you take the descent on the left, you will proceed towards San Lorenzino in the north-west direction.
At the end of the descent, take the diversions to the right, where the path bends to the west and begins another short climb that leads to Villa. At the end of the short climb, turn left and enter the hamlet of Villa; continue for 50 m, turn right and continue straight on for 200 m, heading south. Leave the hamlet behind and take the fork on the left, which will take you inside the "Parco archeologico di San Lorenzino" (San Lorenzino Archaeological Park).
The archaeological area is located on a relief, naturally protected by walls and rocky spurs, in a strategic position for controlling the surrounding area. Continuing the ascent, we skirt the ruins of an ancient building on the right and shortly afterwards arrive at the small church of San Lorenzino, the most evocative element of the park.
park. From the church square, the path continues to the top of the hill. Here there are the remains of a large stone tower with a square base, which in the past served as a lookout from the plain of Feglino to the bottom of the valley of Cornei. Retrace your steps back to the starting point.
